• How did you come up with the idea for this product? In 2011, Bill and his wife Courtney Apple learned that 5 million children die each year from water-related illness, deaths that can be prevented with simple hand washing alone.
• In 2012, they took a trip to Haiti and saw firsthand the effect the give back model could have on people’s lives.
• So they got an idea: create a better soap that could give back and help save lives.
